4th Level Bleach secret about Yhwach MAJOR UPDATE!!!!

Update

So I originally put this theory together back in June 2014.

Even though it appears to have gone down well, the story has since progressed since then. Alot of you have been using some new information as a means to debunk this theory.

While I have no problems with being wrong, I will dissect this new information and see where it leaves us going forward.

.

Kirinji fight debunks theory

One of the main points raised has been the encounter between Yhwach and Kirinji on his entrance to the royal realm.

You see, Kirinji is the first royal guard to show up against Yhwach. He uses his Zanpakuto Kinpika to control the hot springs water of his own device, water that may be used to take out blood and reiatsu from its users. It can also burn flesh as highlight on the wiki page.

Kirinji uses this and takes out the soldat no problem

.

We then see him launch an attack on Haschwald and finally Yhwach himself.

The fight cuts away and we go to another part of the story but it’s safe to assume that Ywhach got seriously wet and burnt at some point during this confrontation. I mean he is practically covered in that spring water in the last scene right? If he had a true weakness to water he wouldn’t be so calm, he’d be absolutely shitting himself in that situation right?

Now this totally makes my argument invalid, doesn’t it?

Well does it?

Let’s look at what actually happens

.

Can’t touch this

When Kirinji launches his attack, we actually don’t see what immediately happens next. There is a tiny time skip

and when we return to it, we see Kirinji is a little bit perplexed. He also states that he hasn’t been able to hit Ywhach ONCE.

.

.

Yhwach just stands there and Kirinji begins to get frustrated why he hasn’t managed to land a single one of his attacks.

.

Eventually Senjumaru turns up with some support and we find out that they too cannot hit Ywhach either

Red Red Wind

It is eventually revealed that Ywhach has been carrying around a personal Stern Ritter at his side, Nianzol Wiezol, who has been given the specific schrift W, for the Wind (as in rhymes with Bind).

.

This dude has the ability to bend reality and avoid people getting hit. And I presume anyone in his vicinity he wishes to protect, which in this case has included Ywhach and Haschwald. He even clearly states that None of Kirinji’s attacks, whether they were water based or directly from Kinpika were able to touch him (and therefore not touch Yhwach).

.

Eventually though, he is taken out by Senjumaru  (that is a bone of contention I won’t get round to at this point in time), he apparently serves his purpose.

.

Sit back and unwind

So first thing is first. it is very heavily implied within the Manga that Yhwach came into no contact with the hot spring water as he was being protected by Nianzol’s schrift at the time of Kirinji’s attacks.

So this cannot be used as evidence as to his immunity to it.

However this can be used as supporting evidence for my case.

You see, Ywhach is not afraid of physical confrontation by any stretch of the imagination.

Ryod Royd who took his personality happily engaged in battle with Yammamoto (highlighting that Ywhach would have been happy to engage in such as well if he had the time)

.

.

Ywhach also happily engaged in brutal battle with Ichibei all on his lonesome without any help and managed to come out of it without any lasting damage.

.

He has also engaged in direct battle with Ichigo on multiple occasions and has shown he can take an upgraded Getsuga Tenshou at close range and still be unphased

.

Arguably Ywhach has come up against three of the most powerful characters in the entire series.

All without a scratch to his name.

So why on earth would he have his own private personal stern ritter, the wind around him.

Could it be perhaps to deal with something he had foreseen.

Yhwach has hinted that his schrift A, The ALMIGHTY allows him to see all possible outcomes to a situation so he cannot lose. He has also shown he has the ability to see the past present and future.

.

However surely after seeing the hot springs attack earlier and having it explained to it would now make him immune from it BUT he still decided to carry Nianzol around. Could it be his eyes have no impact on water? Could that also be why he is vulnerable to Aizen’s hypnosis powers (Zan is called Kyoka Suigetsu, which translates to Mirror flower, water moon).

Is it possible he could have seen Kirinji’s hot spring attack as being a potential dilemma and could have taken measures to counteract it before going into battle.

And what’s the best way to get around someone who can control the flow of water in battle, make sure they can’t hit you.

This could be the reason why he has kept Nianzol so close to him, as a trump card for any water based attacks perhaps.

In any case, this reasoning fits perfectly well alongside the theory without debunking it. Even though Kirinji used a water attach on Yhwach, it never made contact with him and that was due to Nianzol’s interference.

.

It’s still legit

So when you break it down, these new events do not contradict the fourth level theory that Yhwach may have a significant weakness to water and actually fits into the mythos as supporting evidence.

So as far as I am concerned, it’s still up for grabs.

Let’s just see what Kubo decides to deliver us instead.

Thanks for reading and if you like this theory or have something to add, please share and comment alike.
