Best tips for sticking to your diet – Look the part of the Fitness Guru
No one likes the idea of a diet and because of this, many people falter on their way to getting their dream bodies. Even when armed with all the right information, it’s still very easy to get discouraged about the whole thing and quit.
So here are a couple of things I’ve found that will help you stick with it.
You may not need all of them but some might scream out to you as a good idea and if that’s all it takes to keep you on path, that’s good enough.
Look the Part of the Guru
Also if you end up teaching someone, one of the key things you will eventually end up facing is the individual’s acceptance of your wisdom.
No matter how knowledgeable someone is, you wouldn’t trust someone to cut you open unless they’ve done a medical degree and have great surgery statistics. Even then, you’d expect the doctor’s coat and professional dress, maybe even some glasses on your initial consultation with them.
It bogs down to having the right credentials and looks to play a positive role in someone else’s life.
In the Health and Fitness community, no one will bat an eyelid to anything you have to say unless you can show them the fruits of your very own body transformation. Hence why the term

was established as someone on the internet who didn’t look the part was called out for their knowledge on the subject.
If they looked the part, no one would contested his ideas, Even if they said something completely ridiculous (which they didn’t).
So in order to continue to play the part and to make sure you are giving as much as you can to your new students (friends family, colleagues) , you will make an increased effort to look the part of guru and stick with it to show them the fruits of your diet mastery.
So yeah, essentially showing face is a great way to keep on top of your diet.
