Short and socially reponsible…Part 45….

This is what really gets me…

As a life long comic reader, everyone thinks that a hero has to be someone with powers  dressed up in a bright costume, wearing a cape and catching bad guys but this isn’t the case.

Heroes come in all shapes and sizes and they don’t need superpowers, sometimes it takes nothing more than a hug and a smile at the right time to truly save someone’s life.

Take this instance below

At a comic book convention in 2011, a child lost his parents. Afraid and alone, the child turned to the only individuals he could think of in order to help him. The members of his favourite beloved comic book group, the justice league

Don’t worry son, we’ll find your dad in a flash…

Now of course, these weren’t the Flash and Wonder Woman but the child was none the wiser. However the people in the costumes soon realised the predicament they were in and instead of simply walking away or acting as themselves, decided to take on the characters roles they were in and help return this child to his father.

SO when this kid grows up, he’ll remember the time he was saved by the Justice league, even though it was just some cosplaying adults . For him in that moment, the experience was REAL and it is never likely to leave him. At the end of the day,, that’s all that really matters.

I mean sometimes I can talk some real bullshit but like, life is one real simple bitch and when it comes down to it, it’s all about each of us, saving one another, one small piece at a time. Why does it have to be any more or less complicated than that?.

Remember peeps, there’s a hero in each and every one of us…let them roam once in a while, you never know who you’ll end up saving.
