MUSIC MONTH: Song of the day Diecisiete
They often say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Well I firmly believe music is worth none. The right song can absolutely capture a moment where most words can’t. That’s priceless expression.
Today, I’m going to provide you with a song that captures the heart of a feeling I’ve wanted to describe to people for a long time.
The impact itself is the notion of being caught in the eye of a storm.
It’s lyricless and while it displays patterns of beauty, it’s what you don’t hear that is marvelous. The song mascarades as meloncholy while all the time you can feel the power it has surrounding you. The absence of the hard beat you would associate with songs from its genre is the same as the absence of destruction you would find in a storm. It surrounds you and you are aware of the void but the unnatural void itself makes you ever more aware of its absence and therefore makes you appreciate it more. All while the strings circumvent the melody like the wind would circumvent you.
Even so, all my attempts to describe it are clearly lost. I urge you to simply picture the event in your mind and allow the music to carry you through a beautiful experience to be completely powerless in the epicentre of mother nature herself.
